I just got back from Oktoberfest in Munich!!!! I’ve always wanted to go & it was AWESOME!! I met up with an old high school friend, Devon and we partied hard! I was only there for a couple of days and yes, the 12 hour flight each way was worth this party! The pics & a few videos are here

It’s amazing how much work gets put into this 2 1/2 week party. The tents aren’t tents at all but huge buildings. There is a huge carnival in addition to all the tents. And I know this is odd, but the bathrooms were awesome! They were abundant and always clean. I had to take a video of one of the toilets because I was fascinated (don’t worry, it isn’t gross). The tents all have a different vibe so there is something for everyone. Lots of families were there too.
On top of that I met some really awesome people. I made a few new LA friends when my flight out of LAX was delayed. Then we met all kinds of Germans and Aussies! Most everyone was a good drunk, I only saw one fight. I did get my ass grabbed a lot but I just smacked the guy! And yes, there was a little making out with an Aussie. He was a great kisser and called me an American Bird with his hot accent. Hee.
